Your privacy choices

ZeroTell does not sell your personal data. This page explains the one kind of "sharing" that privacy laws such as California's may cover, and how to switch it off.

What we do and don't do

We don't sell personal data, and we don't share the text or files you submit to our tools with advertisers.

If you accept optional cookies, Google Analytics and the Google Ads tag measure visits and whether an ad click led to a sign-up or purchase. Some privacy laws treat that kind of ad measurement as "sharing" personal data for advertising. It is the only activity on ZeroTell that may fall under that definition.

How to opt out

  1. Use Cookie settings

Click "Cookie settings" at the bottom of any page and choose Decline. Google's analytics and ad tags stop loading, and our own attribution cookies (zt_attr, user_tracking_data) are deleted. This applies to the browser you use.

  2. Or turn on Global Privacy Control

If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal and you haven't made a choice in Cookie settings, we treat it as Decline: the Google tags don't load and our attribution cookies aren't written. A choice you make yourself in Cookie settings takes precedence.

  3. Or ask us

Contact us and say you are making a Do Not Sell or Share request. Include your account email so we can also stop attaching ad-attribution data to your account and orders.

  4. We confirm

We may ask you to confirm the request comes from you, then tell you what we changed. You won't be treated differently for opting out.

Privacy choice FAQs

No. Declining in Cookie settings works without an account. An account email only helps us find records linked to you.

The cookie choice is stored per browser, so make it on each device you use, or contact us to apply it to your account.

Don't send passwords, full payment details, government ID numbers or the documents you worked on. We only need enough to identify your account.

The Privacy Policy explains what we collect and why, and the Cookie Policy lists every cookie we set.
