Models and credit prices

The model picker only lists the models that are available right now. On the Pro plans* messages don't use credits (*fair use applies, see the FAQ below), including with Claude and Grok. The credit prices below apply without a plan: web search adds 1 credit, and very long context (large files or long threads) adds 1 credit per extra 20,000 characters.

ZeroTell Chat supports ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, DeepSeek and Grok. The picker shows only the models that are connected right now and the exact model version each one uses, so you always know what you are talking to.

Not on the Pro plans*. *Fair use: up to 300 messages a day with the ChatGPT, Gemini and DeepSeek models, 50 with Claude and Grok, and 100 web searches a day (limits per rolling 30 days are in the Subscription Terms). Without a plan, ChatGPT, Gemini and DeepSeek cost 1 credit per message and Claude and Grok 3; web search adds 1 credit and very long context 1 credit per extra 20,000 characters. If the model fails before it answers, the message isn't counted and any credits are returned.

Yes. Without a plan — signed in or not — you get a few free messages a day on the lowest-cost model. A Pro plan unlocks every model, web search and more messages.

Only when web search is on. The answer then cites numbered sources you can open and check. Without web search, answers come from the model's training data, which may be out of date.

PDF, DOCX, TXT and Markdown files up to 10 MB, plus PNG, JPG or WebP images up to 5 MB for models that read images. A scanned PDF without a text layer can't be read. Paste the text instead.

Yes. Click Add link, or paste a link into the message box and confirm, and the readable text of a public web page or online PDF is attached like a document. Reading the page is free; the message counts like any other message. Pages behind a login or on a private network can't be read.

Signed in, your chats are saved to your account, so they follow you to any device, and each chat is deleted 30 days after its last message (or sooner if you delete it or use Clear all). Without an account, your last 20 chats are saved only in this browser; clearing your browser data or using Clear all removes them. Image files are never saved, only their names.
